IWC Gold for BBR 2004

Balfour Brut Rosé 2004 has been awarded a coveted Gold Medal and Trophy in the 2008 International Wine Challenge - the only English wine to do so this year!

Judge Derek Smedley called the wine "superb" and there were smiles all round when Richard Balfour-Lynn (pictured left) collected the award from former Spurs and Newcastle legend David Ginola at the London International Wine Fair in May. The award was all the sweeter as Ginola's own wine only won a silver medal. One-nil to Les Anglais!
