Hush Heath Estate celebrates its long awaited new winery

19th May 2011

On 13th June 2011 we will celebrate our brand new winery with a fantastic party, where guests will be able to sample the Balfour Brut Rosé and drink the new Vintage of the Nannette’s English Rose straight from our stainless steel tank!

The state of art equipment has arrived at Hush Heath Winery, much to the delight of our winemakers, Owen Elias and Victoria Ash.  Our Gai bottling line can bottle up to 2500 bottles per hour with an option of screw cap, cork or crown cap.  The Nannette’s English Rose 2010 will be the first wine released to be entirely produced at Hush Heath Estate.

Guests will be wined and dined whilst enjoying the beautiful setting of Hush Heath Estate, and visit our impeccable vineyards and the immaculate gardens that surround Hush Heath’s Tudor Manor.  They will also be able to talk to the producer, Mr Richard Balfour-Lynn, and to the winemakers to understand the long and passionate process of making our wines, from hand picking the best of the grapes to the final ageing in bottle.

Important figures of the wine world are invited as well as friends and supporters of the Hush Heath family, and hopefully the sun will be shining in Kent.  Either way, it will certainly be a day to remember.
